Music has been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember. From a young age, I was drawn to its rhythms, melodies, and the emotional depth it carries. My musical journey began when I first learned to play the guitar as a child. What started as a casual interest soon turned into a passion, and I found myself diving deeper into the world of music, especially after discovering bands like Metallica. I was captivated by their powerful guitar solos and intricate melodies, which inspired me to hone my skills. By the time I reached Grade 8, I was awarded the Best in Guitar award, a milestone that fueled my passion even further. As I continued to explore music, my interests expanded beyond the guitar. I started playing the harmonium, a classical Nepali instrument that introduced me to the world of vocal training and music composition. The harmonium had a profound impact on my understanding of melody and harmony, helping me refine my musical ear and improve my vocal control. Music has been a lifelong passion and an inseparable part of my identity, beginning with my early fascination with rhythms and melodies. Learning guitar as a child sparked a deeper interest, especially after discovering bands like Metallica, whose powerful solos inspired me to refine my skills—eventually earning a “Best in Guitar” award by Grade 8. My journey expanded to include the harmonium, which enhanced my vocal training and musical composition, and later to rhythmic instruments like the cajon, drums, and the traditional Nepali maadal, connecting me to my cultural roots. Each instrument has enriched my understanding of music’s depth and emotional power. Whether at home or with friends, I never miss a chance to play or sing, finding joy, peace, and self-expression through music—a universal language that continues to shape my life.
